Again... it's the CNN effect. The 24-hour news cycle brings us bullshit like fucking Nancy Grace holding forth about god only knows what (Terry Schaivo, Michael Jackson, insert the 'who cares' story du jour here) instead of what would be a relatively boring ACTUAL NEWS. It's got to be the same thing with ESPN.
